In the Audience
For listeners sitting in the audience of conference talks as they happen, we provide low-latency translation streams via Mumble.
For this, you'll need a Mumble client. We recommend the following clients:
Use the following settings (in the web client, you shouldn't need to configure anything):
- 64738 (Web Client: 64737)
- Your choice, e.g. mumble12345678
If all works, you‘ll now be provided with a list of channels. There is a primary and a secondary translation channel for each hall. The primary channel translates between English and German, the secondary channel translates into a third language (when available).
If you’re not in the audience, the video and audio streams provided by the VOC are by far the easiest solution. You’ll find a choice of translated streams in the Formats tab.
